Journal of Responsible Tourism Management (JRTM) is published by UCSI University (Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management) and Sarawak Research Society, supported by Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MTAC) Sarawak and RCE (Regional Centre of Expertise) Kuching.

JRTM publishes two times per year (January and July). Abstracts and manuscripts must be written in English and can be submitted via email throughout the year. JRTM welcomes research that includes but not limited to the followings:

• Issues or practices related to economic responsibility, socio-cultural responsibility and environmental responsibility;
• Responsible behaviour including responsible travelling, respecting different cultures, visiting heritage sites with a clear understanding of rules and regulations, and making purchase or usage decisions without generating waste;
• Roles of different stakeholders (e.g. citizens, local community, government, business organisations, educational institutions, etc) and co-creation of values to realise responsible tourism in a sustainable manner;
• Policies, strategies, initiatives or cases to promote and implement responsible tourism and Sustainable Development Goals in the local contexts.

All manuscript(s) is to be submitted to [email protected]. This journal uses a double-blind review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. To clarify, JRTM does not charge any processing or publication fee.
